When I started on September 14th, I came in with no experience in the Electrical trade, but I can truly say I’ve come a long way since then. I now feel confident in my skills and ready to start working in the trade. Tradecraft also provides lunch, which saves me both time and money since I don’t have to leave campus. My instructor is very knowledgeable and does a great job teaching, and all of the employees have been very welcoming and helpful. i highly recommend Tradecraft to anyone who is interested in getting in the trades. its been a great experience. The facility is clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped to give students hands on experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, including residential and commercial training. There is so much potential here, and I truly believe Tradecraft Schools will be an incredible place for people looking to start a career in the trades. What is trade school like at Tradecraft?

Most of your time is spent in the lab, practicing hands-on skills with instructors who connect each lesson to real work they've done in the field. Programs focus on HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.

Do I need experience to start?

No prior experience is required. Our programs are designed for entry-level students, and many of our students start with no background in the trade.

How long are the programs?

Each of our pre-apprenticeship programs is six weeks long.

How do I choose between HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing?

Start with a tour. You can see each lab, meet the instructors, and ask our admissions team questions before you decide.

Is Tradecraft Schools approved in Texas?

Tradecraft Schools is Approved and Regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges, Austin, Texas.
